AAPI Westport announces its formation and launches its website, AAPIWestport.com

AAPI Westport was created in March 2021 following a significant rise in violence and racism against the Asian community. Our mission is to foster a sense of belonging within our community, as well as increase AAPI visibility and awareness throughout Westport and beyond.

We are local moms committed to educating others about Asian American Pacific Islander history and experiences. By doing so, our goal is to create an environment where our children feel proud of their heritage. 

We envision that our website will serve as a resource for the community to achieve our mission and goal.
